WORD, G-MAN. [omg, name that movie!]

Ok, so if you don't know by now, my 21st birthday is November 16th. [The day before Star Trek comes out on DVD. WHUD UP!] My question is, what on Earth should I do? I'm really leaning towards a mocktail party. [Gotta make it family friendly.] If I do that, what should I do besides have everybody dress up and serve fruity drinks? Would drinking games be fun? This is where y'all come in. I need some brainstorming! Another thing, when should I have it? I'm going to be in St. George that weekend before, so maybe the next weekend? sw_fangirl  is having the Star Trek DVD party on Saturday, so I don't want to interfere with that. So I guess that leaves Friday, the 20th?


BTW, if anybody wants to get this on a cake [or any sort of variation], I WOULD NOT COMPLAIN! ^_^

First of all, can I get an "Amen!" that this week finally over?! Ugh, finals are going to be the death of me. And I get to do them 4 more times before I graduate.

In other news, I have all this week. I took my Anatomy I final tonight and I was less thatn 3 points shy from getting an A in the class. Bummed? You better fucking believe it. *sigh* I totally plan on treating myself to some retail therapy once this week is over. I need some sweaters and coats!

First of all, FUCK YEAH for Star Trek going back to IMAX! It looks like there's only a 12:30 and a 9:30 showing. Can we work out a  GQMF meetup around those times? I know it depends on which day for me. What does everybody's schedules look like?

Second: Does anybody know of a place I can get an LJ mood theme? Perhaps something GQMF inspired? Trying to revamp my LJ now that I'm using it again.

Third: I'm really digging this song.

You guise, I just got done watching Charlie's Angels for the first time in forever. I LOVE THAT MOVIE SO MUCH! It's such an enjoyable, fun watch. The more I think about it, the more I realize how much of a profound and influential effect it had on me when it first came out when I was about 12. Sam Rockwell when he turns bad is just so UNF. Oh HAI Crispin Glover, ICU! I blame him for my fascination for all things creepy. Like seriously, dark hair, pale skin, vampires, serial kilers, you name it, I think all stems from my love for his character. YUM!

I finally got my extended definition essay back Monday. If I were to pick one piece of literature that I am most proud of, this would be it, hands down. It's not the next Brave New World or Wuthering Heights, but I fleshed this thing out, and I'd be happy if it was the last surviving piece of work from me. 

I like constructive criticism. Please speak your mind.

Oh, I'd also like to make a point that I have the best AP English teacher. Ever. The stuff that's highlighted or written in blue are her comments that were on my paper, or in the margins. The best way I could show that was to add footnotes. I hope it's not hard to follow.
